I have just reached 40 hunter and I tried smoking traps but I found the results no different on barb-tailed kebbits shall I test on prickly kebbits or what ? best wishes bladekenny94 |

I would say that it's worth it because in my opinion the four things that affect your hunting are: 1.The bait you use 2.Your distance from the trap 3.What you wear 4.how the trap smells[/quote] |

I don't use bait or smoke the trap. Probably because I'm lazy, and the animals get caught really fast anyways. |

I always smoked my traps, wore hunter clothing and stayed about 5-10 steps away from the trap. I did fine. |

ok thanks because I was hunting barb-tailed kebbits and i caught them almost everytime with no smoke or bait but with smoking I caught everytime but I dont't think its worth it but yes maybe for prickly kebbits best wishes bladekenny94 |

Well according to the hunter manual or w/e it greatly increases your chances of catching w/e your trying to catch. ![]() |
