That's not one of those "h0w do u mke mony?11?!!" topics. Got my account back 4 days ago already make 500k mixing woodcutting with alching 200-300 yew longs from the nats I had left over in the bank. I know how to make cash but I am looking for the fastest possible way. Currently my woodcutting is 84, I was thinking about simply non stop woodcutting yews or fletch yew longs and sell them for 600gp each and after I get some decent cash and will be able to buy my own materials I will buy materials, make yew longs and sell them making 150gp profit from each bow. So my final question should I stick with woodcutting and sell yews or try making yew longs with some profit? Remember I need the fastest possible way. |

I you want to be fast, it's better to woodcut,as you just get free money, with no investment, but in the long run, fletching is better. |

Like gontcha said to get 100% profit cut and sell yews and magics.To get a better profit but at a slower rate fletch them into bows and sell them. You'll be making 2x the amount of money from fletching than woodcutting. |

I actually think fletching is faster. But i'm not sure how fast you can get a full inventory of Yew logs. A inventory of yew logs will be around 9k To get 9k you'll have to make 15 yew longs and sell those for 600 each. However you're also losing money on that (about 500 gp). So to get 9k you've to fletch 90 yew longs. So either making 90 yew longs or cutting 28 yews. Find out the times for both and you got your answer

Do you even know how long it takes to chop a full inventory of Magic logs? I say fletching... Or why not both. Chop the logs, make some bows... You're set. |

I think I rather stick with both, I will just make my own bows for a while and sell them to others instead of alching. |

Here are some times that I tested quite a while ago, not sure how accurate they are still. It takes about 20 minutes to cut a load of magics = ~84k gp/hr It takes about 10 minutes to cut a load of yews = ~54k gp/hr You can make about 1200 full bows of any type in an hour. Yew Logs = ~320gp each Bow Strings = ~180gp each Yew Longs = ~590gp each ------------------------------ Profit per bow = ~90gp 1200 bows/hr * 90gp/bow = ~108k gp/hr I conclude that fletching is better money than wcing. |

Well I would say Fletching is faster money but WCing is almost handsfree so it depends on if you want faster money at all cost or if you would be ok if you had a little bit less money but without effort. Because, to be honest, stringing bows gets annoying with time. |

I would fletch the yews, or cut the logs and buy the bow strings then fletch. |
