actually the best place is the range in lumbridge castle. after the quest he tells you that his range burns less. so it's better for cooking. bank is only 1 trap door away.

Range phails at life. I've tested it and it's only about 10% better. I recommend Rogues' Den.

yeah do what trekkie said thats what im doing on my pure, jus do cooks assistant then start recipe for disaster you dont have to do any of the sub-quests just go in the room and watch the scene and then youll have access to the chest. just cook there till your high enought so youll barely burn anything then you can move to somewhere else.

Personally i would recommend you fly fish with around 2-5K feathers, and cook everything you get from that. After this, if you have a level near 60-65 in cooking, which is most likely going to happen if you fish 5K fishes, you could start cooking lobs.

Remember that neverburn lobs is 75.
