In goals and assignments Ive seen alot of people who will be in their house when they level up. You can't bank genie lamps so do they just keep it in their inventory for a long time until they are close enough to level up with it? Or is their some other way to get experience like that.

You can do anything that only needs your inventory to do.

Cooking, flecthing, smithing, crafting, prayer, ranged, any combat, farming by planting a tree i belive, herblore, firemaking, cons of course.

And any skill can be lvled by lamps.

Yeah you can. It wouldn't make sense if you couldn't. You can do most things at your house. I think it would be pretty stupid if you tried doing something like alching and you get a message, "You are not aloud to alch in your house, the sound annoys your neighbours."

Yes, you can do any skill in your house, even though it would be such a waste of time... Who would alch alone? Who would go to your house to just make potions? I don't understand why someone would do that...

Why would someone alch alone. I bet autoers alch in their houses. No random events. And if there's one that will kill you? Big deal, you can't die in your house.

I don't think autoers have a house.

And you can die in your house and be telleported to Lumbrige or Fallador. It has happened to me.

To answer some new questions brought up here:

Herblore training - maybe the person has a barrel of greenmans ale and needs to use it to get that one extra level to make the potions?

Cooking - You get unlimited cake ingredients with a number of other things, so it is literally possible to train yourself up to level 99 cooking without leaving your house - it's just slow.

Dying - If you die in your house and you're not in a combat ring, you are teleported just outside the house portal without losing anything. This is why people high-alch there, is that there aren't as many random events and when they do come, you don't have to worry about dying.

Prayer - person has an altar and burners there, they'll easily get more exp per bone then usual.

By thr way, did you guys know that catching a clockwork mouse gives you an instant 15 exp?
