im an f2per and i somtimes notice charcoal in the general store. I figure it must be an import from members world just as maple logs are...

but wat use does it have!?

there's another quest that you need it for too, digsite i think but there are definately a few quests that need it.

it's not import, use coal with fire

and it's used as pencil or in making bombs :P

You can also get them from woodcutting some trees in the wilderness
