Post subject:  Question about metel dragon?

I have been killing bronze dragons pretty easy. i am wondering, since i really wona train bolts and blasts spells what kind will hit better on bronze dragons?
I was thinking since they shoot fire does water blasts and bolts hit more on them then fire spells or melee?

True,
People who only cast water spells on monsters like a fire giant because it is a "fire" giant is stupid. Fire wave hits better on everything then water wave would do

Jagex said it also once in a announcement i believe

So why when i was fighting the ice guard in the desert treasure, i was doing on him Water Wave and Air Waves and it hardly hit him but when i used Fire Waves they got a 15-20s on him every time??

How can you cast fire wave when you are only lvl72 magic?

Using magic potions I guess. Anyways you just hit harder with fire spells. No matter what type of monster it is. It has all got to do with the magic defence the monster/player has.

Fire Giants have a weakness to Water Spells.

Bronze Dragons have a weakness to just about anything.

Most people use Slayer Dart on them alongside with using Anti-Fire potions, but I've seen people use Fire Wave.

Every heard of SPAM? Southrend just said it can be done with a magic potion so this message is pointless "sPam"

he was answering your question, how is that sPam?

they do have weaknesses... it's pretty much a known fact that the ice guy in desert treasure has a weakness to fire, the fire guy has weakness to water...

they don't hit higher, just more often.

For metal dragons, I would go with fire, because they have no elemental weakness, so I would just use the highest level spell.

Some things do have weaknesses, and to answer the other person's question, the Ice guy in Desert Treasure, fire DOES hit more effectively, even if you use a higher level spell of another element. But that's a quest monster, I'm not sure about things such as Fire Giants.

Actually, I thought that the magic bonus determined how often you hit, not the spell. The spell gives a higher/lower maximum hit. Seeing as nothing in runescape, other than quest monsters have weaknesses, I would use the best you can use.

ok,

1. Spell determins nothing, just the max hit / runes used
2. Yes, the higher the magic bonus the more often the hit

To answer the question, Use the highest spell possible :)
