WHo are the ones under the lighthouse? The ones who drop seercull? ^_^ How hard are they? I'm a mage/ranger, how good should I be before I join a group or do one myself?

The ones underneath the lighthouse arent anything special. Its where you go to do your slayer task. These do not drop any of the new fremennik armor or dragon hatchet, mud staff, or seacrull bow.

The ones on waterbirth island however, are super-powered beasts that drop dagannoth hides, and the 'big' ones drop the three new items. You will need a friend to get to them.

I cannot say how strong you must be to kill one of these big fish, as I have not yet gone. however, bear in mind that many players have lost items such as veracs helm there. *cough*they're kinda strong*cough*

Yeah, they're pretty tough. A team is definitely advised, which is just as well because you need at least one other person to even reach them.

Ok. If you head for the lighthouse and do the horror of the deep quest, you can gain acess to a dagonnoth flooded dungeun which you can access any time. It's multi-combat and these dagonnoth hit low and not as much as the 'super' ones, plus they make some decent drops like mithril spears and clue scrolls.

Then there's waterbirth island. The main room anyone can access alone is not multi-combat. However, in a room that takes 2 to enter, there are level 88 dagonnoth that use only ranged attacks. That area is multi-combat, and they drop the hides you 'need' to make different armor. The level 90 single-combat ones just drop the 'base' hides.

In a sense, it's like making a picture frame. The level 90s drop the basic wood you use to actually 'make the frame', and the level 88 ranged ones drop the details that set the different frames apart from each other. You mainly need only 1 of these types, but around 2-3 basic hides for each type of armor.

Anyways, returning on topic, if you proceed father in by climbing down the ladder, the entire area down there is multi-combat, and there are sections with dagonnoth, level 88 and 90. Be careful, though, because it's easy to die down there.

King Daganoths - lvl 303 lies in the depeest of the Water Birth Dungoen. Some even had trouble just reaching them coz you need to go through daganoths, walrus, rock crabs and rock lobster that range, melee and mage you. And it is a very very long walk through many many ladders. The final place is King Daganoths lair. 3 of them in a multi combat zone. One use mage, another melee and one more range all attacking at the same time. Their hit can range up to 40 or 50 depending on ur defence. At the same time, there are many lower lvl npc all around that mage and range you. I consider them harder than even Kalphite Queen. Their rare drops include Dragon Hatchet, Mud Staff, Seercull Bow, Seers Ring, Warrior Ring, Berseker Ring and Range Ring.
