well, A couple of days ago, i downloaded two handy programs called GIMP and VTF Edit. For those of you who haven't heard of them before, gimp is a photo manipulation program that you can use to edit different photos in different formats (JPEG, .TGA...etc). And Vtf edit is the program you use to import .VTF (Valve Texture files). Usually, Counterstrike skinners use these two (and photoshop) to make custom skins for the counterstrike models. So i went ahead and made my first skins, choosing the AWP and Glock18. I only colored the glock. The awp, i did a little bit more custom work to. Also, be sure to make a backup of your regular guns if you want to revert back to the orginal. Feel free to rate. Cheers, dafin0

Ya, post some images. This sounds pretty cool. What I might be more interested in is a site that has custom skins you can choose from already saving you the work and know how to make your own skins. Know of any sites like that by any chance?

Ok, i have now converted the images to .jpeg format so you guys can preview them on the forum. While i was replying to your topic. i made another skin. All i did this time was get a picture of the US flag and put it on the desert eagle. I call it "Yankee deagle". NOTE: You might or might not have to zoom in to see each weapon in more detail.
