Post subject:  Life's Little Pleasures...
I took this picture just not too long ago. I was waiting at the bus stop, and this was on the ground. So with my phone I took this picture. Just looking at it is kinda sad. And it seems to sum up alot of things.

I think its a reflection on the instant gratification society we live in and the selfish attiutdes of many people. Someone has obviously drunk that coke, smoked that ciagarette and then thrown it down, not caring about littering, not caring about the enviroment, or what an eyesore it is to other people. Just being content they've got their thrill and being too lazy to find a bin, clear up after themselves and be a decent member of society.

Thats how I saw it anyway.

Since it was at a bus stop, if they were waiting for a bus, that is 100x more lazy then finding a bin since there would be a bin on the bus...

Once I woke up kind of late and didn't have time to eat anything but was really thirsty so I took this drink with me on the way to the bus stop and some of my friends were waiting there too and I still had the finished trash in my hand, and they told me to just throw it on the ground "because you look like a dweeb holding it", rather than waiting the 2 minutes for the bus and throw it out there. I suppose not looking like a dweeb in front of no one except the passing cars is more important.

Or it could be a bus like ours without bins in them they just have lil slots for tickets a coke wouldn't fit through..and i certainly wouldn't put a cigarette in there.

And so this poor soul at risk of ***** off green peace decided to chuck it on the floor over going on an adventure to find a bin and miss his bus.

Anywho i hope that wasn't the meaning behind the picture. Let down if it was.

If you want to get technical, Toronto buses have bins and I think he lives there. XD Anyways, I know no one would look for garbage for a cigarette (besides kind of hazard if its still lit) since after the snow melts there are mountains of cigarettes everywhere, even where there are numerous cigarette disposer things. That kind of thing just can't be expected.

Anyways, not upsetting Greenpeace isn't the reason I put **** in garbage bins. Even if that guy did throw the coke can in a trash can, they would go off on him for not recycling.
It may be torture to hold on to a light can on a bus since where ever you are going there will probably be a trash can, but I think the poorer soul is the one who cleans it up.

Seems there is more meaning behind it, though.

Well not really cause the people cleaning it up are payed to do so. If there was no rubbish they'd have no jobs. Anywho i don't litter often i usually dump my trash on the bus because the driver has to clean it out and there usually a rude bunch of ******* so i figure it's the least i can do. Unless there nice then i take it with me.

Not that i see a problem with littering. Least of our worries.

Ok so now I don't feel like a complete tool for seeing more then just a coke can and cigarette butt. I don't know what made me take the picture, but it was weird, the ground around it, if you haven't notice is some what circular, bringing your attention towards the junk in the middle.
