You know what. I'm not one for ripping on someone and laughing at them over a hobby. Not often.

But..step the **** aside mate let the kids play. That picture made me laugh my *** off when i saw it i thought it was a **** joke. Then i saw this in the comments:

Can't help but laugh. I'm mean. Oh and his dads a right numpty too.

What I think:

It's ok to have their hobby, no matter what are they. As far you like them, good for you. It's surely cool to become famous through this.

My suggestion:

Get a life.

Wow, this kid is a big one. He is at least 5'11", and he's decently built, but he needs to go shed some pounds. :P

Regardless, he worked hard, he deserved to be the Pokemon Card Champion.

Blimey i knew there would be some whiners i didn't think it'd be universal. I should point out at the time of posting, i was under the impression fatty there was champ while pinky and perky behind him where runners up. Him standing there, with hands on hips looking triumphant over two little kids was hilarious in my book. And the kotaku comments made it even better.

I later found out they was also winners. That's why i was laughing not so much because of the ZOMG HE PLAYS TEH POKEMONZ.

..That and hes like every stereotype I've heard about pokemon rolled into one. Which i find very very funny in itself.

It also doesn't help with comments on youtube like this:

Quote:
He seemed surprisingly normal actually, until 2:29 when his face nearly IMPLODES.

It's only encouraging me.

Sorry to blow your mind but it is for kids. I'm sorry it just is. Full stop. It's designed and made for children. There not going for the teen demography or the adult one there going for the kids.

You have caught my attention tho with this talk of an adult division. I'd like to see them too. Maybe i can find the champ for that.

For those and there little virtual pokeypets/cards/stuffed toys(LMFAO) that i have offended; I'm terribly sorry.

edit: Meh the other divisions aren't funny. Lame.

I'm a big fan of pokemon actually, and though I play the video games and not the card game, this kid's accomplishment shouldn't be mocked.

After all...He was the ONLY one running Beedrill.

Im with you there, The pokemon games are the best games you can get for gameboy/DS. But the cards were just something... well, you just collected them when you were 8. :|

I laughed really hard at the picture on the website.

It reminds me of some time long ago, I was at this Yu-Gi-Oh club thing, and this mom was having her six year old daughter babysit her one year old son while she played card games with everyone.

the faces he made were funny as hell, but i can't really laugh at him for it...im sure he doesn't do it to be cool...

its good he found something he's good at, but its not going to last long and he needs to find other things too.
whats he going to do when he's 30 years old? good luck finding another 30 year old to sit down and talk pokemon with...

some things are meant to grow out of....pokemon is one of them.

I just /facepalm'd

IF there are really 30-50 year-olds who play the game, than this card game is far more pathetic than Creepy originally thought, eh?

I don't think it's pathetic. I just think it's very very funny.
