Wow, that's a sad picture. The pool in front of the Lincoln Memorial is supposed to be an symbol of America. I am sure they could find worse things to spend their money on than filling up that symbol. |

Maybe it was going to be cleaned so it had to be drained? May have rained a bit explaining the small puddles. And a little reflection is still there. It may be now titled the reflecting puddle

horrible thing is im american and i never knew it was a "reflecting pool". I just thought it was just a cool thing to put between the memorial and the other thing on the other side. (white house i think?) |

lol this is really weird tho, but i don't see the point of draining the pool unless it really needs to be cleaned, and wouldn't they cover up what they weren't cleaning? this makes no sense to me >.< |
