I sang House of the Rising Sun. Ignore the crappy quality, it's recorded on a five dollar mic. Also, ignore the fact that I messed up some pitches in the second verse and messed up a word in the last verse. I was confused during the second verse cause I was actually supposed to sing the part with the tailor and the gambling father as the second verse instead of telling your children and I got all confused. I dunno why I messed up the last part. Download it here: http://www.placebocomic.com/assets/Hous ... ingSun.mp3 Tell me if you like it or not. ![]() - Matt |

That was excellent, but I think you missed a part? : "Now the only thing a gambler needs Is a suitcase and trunk And the only time he's satisfied Is when he's on a drunk " |

"Now the only thing a gambler needs Is a suitcase and trunk And the only time he's satisfied Is when he's on a drunk " Yep, I forgot that stanza. If I record it again I'll add it. The reason behind me forgetting it is the fact that when I first learned it I wasn't taught that stanza. ![]() - Matt |

Backing track means the background music. Where did you get an instrumnental of the song (no words version). |
