Is anyone else (who has the game) having troubles playing Alliance of Valiant Arms? It always gets stuck on the "Connecting" part after the AVA and NVIDIA opening thing. Any fixes? (All the system requirements are met)

Rumor has it that the installer has malware.

I assume you're trying to get the Black Rose for TF2, in which case you can just use Steam Achievement Manager.

Steam Achievement Manager isn't officially approved, nor is it officially disapproved of either. If you're going to use it, just know that if you get banned, it's your own fault.

Although I am interested in the knife I do genuinely want to try AVA, my brother played it quite a bit and he didn't even know about the black rose promotion until he began playing tf2 regularly. I heard in the forums they're fixing it, but it's been like this for at least a week, and my brother can't connect either. WTF I'm going to wait until it's up, I'm not gunna use achievement crap. I just wanted to see if there was an installation problem or something
