Hello Forum, My current version of Firefox is listed in the title. In the past I installed an addon that allowed me to view mobile versions of the sites I visited, user agent. I've uninstalled the addon and cleared cache and cookies etc but still only view sites in mobile view. Any help is appreciated. |

I'd suggest reinstall of Firefox if you haven't already tried that. Just make sure to backup/save bookmarks before doing so. |

Would it be possible to fix without reinstalling it? |

Probably. I just don't know myself. I've had addon problems in the past like this where I'll uninstall the addon, but it continues to function like you mentioned. The only other thing I'd suggest, and this is just me brainstorming out loud, is double checking to make sure the addon is turned off/uninstalled. Also, I'm wondering if it's possible that even though it was an addon you installed, you also installed a plugin which is what is causing the display issue. If it's a plugin, you would need to disable that along with the addon. Sorry I'm not terribly helpful. Uninstall is the way to go in my opinion. You can easily backup your bookmarks and import them pretty quickly after and any addons or plugins you had can also be quickly reinstalled. Might take a little time, but it should fix your problem. |

Yes uninstalling should help. There's also a second option.... Switch to Chrome |

For whatever reason, it seems that the addon left all user-agent strings set before it was removed. If you can reinstall the addon, reset everything to default, then uninstall, I think your issues might resolve themselves. It sounds more like an issue of the addon than the browser itself. |
