Photoshop won't recognize a font

Post subject:  Photoshop won't recognize a font
Okay, so I downloaded this really great font that would look perfect on a signature I made, and so when I go and look for it, it isn't there.

There are two of the same font, but one is solid and one is an outline. I want the solid one, but Photoshop doesn't recognize it. It does recognize the outline one though.

I've gone and un-installed and re-installed them both about five times and it's still the same thing.

Help?

EDIT: I found out the font is retarded and instead of being what it should be it comes up as "regular" l0l. LOCK PLOX

could you use the outline then either color it in, or blend the outline into the background color?
what version of Photoshop you have? the fonts may be from different versions

I have the latest version of Photoshop, and there isn't a way to color in the text. ;) And blending the text in would be avoiding the whole point of text in the first place. :P

Regardless of the version of Photoshop I have, it should no matter what always see all of my installed texts. It isn't installed to Photoshop, it's installed to my computer. ;)
