The first Speedtest result shows how fast my internet connection is right now, second one shows how fast my internet connection usually is. I had not even installed anything and during last 2 days my internet has being somewhat slow, I tried doing System Restore just in case if there was something wrong with my computer, it only made my internet connection worse. I tried scanning my PC for viruses, I didn't have any, I am using AVG Free.

I just can not even understand what the problem is, can anyone help me or make a suggestion?

You should try contacting your ISP to see if there is any problem with your phone line.

Actually, if they are DSL provider check filters on the wall, if it become unplugged or breaks, it wont work properly, or if you plugged in the phone/Phone Num ID without it, it also won't work if that doesn't work, contact the ISP, I've had this kind of trouble a few times, but if it is cable check connections and stuff, also i had similar problem once i replaced the modem it started working properly. So it might be your modem/ or filters check them first, if doesn't work call the ISP.

I've found that sometimes I have to replace my microfilters when my internet's connection gets unbearably slow. *shrugs*

Hm how many time you replaced yours, because I had no problems with mine for around 3 years.

Thanks for the suggestions, on second I was thinking about switching to cable from DSL. Anybody got any suggestions/opinions on this?

Not that i would recommend, Comcast are the worst in my area and the speed doesnt rise above 6kbps well at least that is in my town i used comcast before and i got dissatisfied, and SBC DSL is about 30.00 cheaper, and has the about 6011KBPS, so i got that instead.

Edit: my filters have been working properly for about 4 years, i had to replace 1 last week and thats it.

1. Un-plug your router or phone line
2. restart computer
3. if those don't work call your ISP
