Are you willing to spend any money?

Because I bought PC-cillin at Best Buy and it has worked well for me. I've tried Norton as my anti-virus program too, but I wouldn't recommend it. It uses way too much CPU.

Matthew, Jeff, or jrdgames will probably come along and be able to point out some good free anti-virus programs that will obliterate my suggestion though, so I'd wait. XD

Well, there's NOD32 which I use, isn't free but works very good.
Then I also have Spybot S&D which I search my computer with daily.
And I've been free from viruses in a couple of years time now \:D/

I like PC-Cillin. I tried out Norton, and ZoneAlarm, and I have found that PC-Cillin beat them both.

If you're willing to spend money, McAfee.

If you're not, AVG Free.

Mainiacks, there are two versions of AVG - the paid-for edition, and the free one. The free one is still very good. Get that.

I honestly would not recommend Norton. Do you have any idea how much it slows down your computer?

I've tried it personally for a few months and it's a pretty good anti-virus, but the fact that it takes up tons of CPU is what makes it not the anti-virus program I would want to have on my computer.
