SINCE YOU CLICKED HERE YOU GOING TO HELP!

This is a THIRD time I am posting this darn topic. My Flash Player 9 has no sound. I tried to re install Firefox (current browser I use to watch it), and re-installing again. I tried using Flash Player using Opera or even IE but nothing. I re installed Flash Player couple of times, still nothing. I tried to go Adobe's information center to ask them or to talk to anybody who can help. They were as good as crap. So now I am turning to you my fellow RSBANDBers to help me. My sound speakers and volume work perfectly fine when I use other video/audio programs except Flash Player. Is there anyway I can get the sound to work? Check the options? Anything will help. Either post something to help me or kill yourself.

It might be your sound card. Are all you drivers updated? Maybe it just doesnt' support flash?

Did you try googling it? Because I'm finding a lot of sound issues and fixes online. What is your OS for starters?

Here is one for xp. I would follow the directions at the bottom or go straight to microsoft...I'm sure they have an equivalent tutorial on it.

Here’s click-ready download with the registry fix zipped windows REG file. File listing:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionDrivers32]
"wavemapper"="msacm32.drv"

I installed the regitry fix zipped windows file, do I have to do anything afterwards? My sound is still not working.

I don't think it's the speakers or the sound card, I was perfectly fine using Adobe Flash Player 9 and completly could hear all the sound. I installed firefox, when I went to flash websites it said to install the flash player, I installed it using firefox, after that it stopped working.

Also what do you mean by OS?
I am going to try google the problem, might the find solution. Still some more help would be appreciated.

It means Operating System. Try using Opera for Flash stuff. :shock: Or, if you are left without a chance, IE.

What version of firefox are you using. If you can try going back to 1.5.11 instead of using the new 2.0 beta. Also, check around the internet for stuff relating to your problem. I can't diagnos the problem from this distance...but I"m it sounds like you've go the general area cover.

Well it isn't;

Soundcard,
Drivers,
Software.

It may be;

The flash player settings.

From what I've been reading some integrated sound cards are not capable of handling flash. Either that or there is just some bug that won't allow them to function. My recommendation is that sound cards are cheap. Pick one up for $10 and slap it in the PCI slot...then put on the appropriates software and reboot...that should solve the problem. Otherwise...you are going to have to play around with it a lot.
