Post subject:  oh no! checksum error!
i need help bad and have already tried the following:

getting latest java
trying all different types of java
using mozilla firefox and other browsers
downloading all recent microsoft updates

someone plz help! any suggestions are appreciated

You might want to talk to Sephiroth-DrX because he had the same kind of error, he might be able to help you some how.

When did you start getting the error? you might have to wait till the next update to be able to go on rs again :\

I don't think he would be able to help because he wasn't able to fix the problem when he had it.

rs has not been working for over 264 hours, in which time there have been many updates, and i know it cant be a computer problem because i have 2 computers, an older dell and a brand new one that this error still comes on
