ok, so firefox has basically worked fine until recently. now, when i'm on the computer for over a few hours, this little message pops up saying that Firefox had a page fault or something, and the only option is to quit. and after i quit, i can't open it again until i restart it. it gets really annoying. and not only that, but now, when i click on the "recycling bin" icon, or the "mycomputer" icon, the computer freezes up and i have to force restart. can someone tell me what's wrong. it might be a virus but nothing turns up when i run a virus scan. |

Try removing firefox then reinstalling it. That might fix that problem. The other problem might be a virus or some kind of adware. You might also not have enough opsn space on a hard drive. Have you downloaded any large files, such as a big game or something of the sort lately. Make sure you hard drive has atleast a gig free and your memory is running well. |

See if firefox is still running after one of these crashes. Open up taskmanager (ctrl+alt+del). Click the tab labeled 'processes'. If firefox is in there, end it. Then try running it again. At least, that's the problem I keep having. |

But you can also make your computer faster with no destop and no screensaver or just run spyware remover, maybe is there to much spyware on your computer. For the saftly you can run a virusscanner too. I hope for you this works. |
