Mostly junk to be honest. :P For example, I like to hold onto bottle caps from drinks that I have (both alcoholic and non-alcohiolic).

I used to collect baseball cards in the past and have a decent collection sitting around hoping to gain in value 50 years from now.

I also have a couple autographed books now from their authors. Namely, people involved in the Apollo space program. :D

Apollo space program eh? That's pretty neato .

I also started collecting merch from my favorite Star Wars film.
The Phantom Menace . (my room is full of collectables) Even my walls are covered in rare posters.

Thinking of starting a collection of video games.
Dreamcast games are expensive . And cartridge games degrade faster.. so would hurt the "re-sale" value if they all stopped working haha.
The Wii has a lot of cheap shovelware so maybe that , even though I have never owned that system.
So thinking about the original Xbox as that system I still own to this day.

I mostly use eBay to research but I know a local store that has a lot of cheap retro games that I can walk in with money and do some damage.
This is just a debate in my head that I haven't fully settled yet.

I'm so glad I found this post, albeit a year later lol... Nice to see some fellow collectors on the forums.

I love collecting ever since I was a kid. Cards, comics, movies, etc. Right now I'm big into collecting graded Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG cards and Harry Potter TCG cards. Here are a couple favorites from my collection.

Phantom Menace Anniversary Coin I picked up. Only found 1 seller at the time of purchased that had two for sale. Found a few more since then that I'll probably buy.

Part of my inspiration comes from that guy who collected vhs tapes of the 90's film Speed.
Also the website dedicated to the destruction of Shaq Fu games. (oddly inspirational)

After finding my old Beyblades from like 2004 . I might start collecting those too. I love to window shop for them online. So cool to look at.
but I'm still buying more copies of The Phantom Menace , they are cheap and I want to own the most! :mrgreen:
