Post subject:  Tea Time - Favorite Teas?

I recently got a few new teas from Harney and Sons, and included was a new favorite of mine, their Scottish Breakfast tea. It's a pretty strong tea, and probably not for everyone, certainly a far cry from the more complex flavored teas I normally enjoy.

What I really wanted to ask, was what is everyone's favorite tea? I'm always looking for recommended teas to try, so lay it on me!

Good old hot green tea is just fine for me.

cold green tea in those plastic bottles are nasty. Tea should be hot.

Ice tea can be good, if you get a strong enough fruity flavor that it's almost juice. But, at that point you might as well just have some actual juice.

I'm boring and I like black tea with lemon the most.

A whole variety actually. We're fortunate to have a pretty good tea store here with a good selection: https://www.davidstea.com/

I have a fairly even selection of black and rooibos (though some say it's not actually a tea), fewer white, green, and oo'long.

The favourites:
- Creme caramel rooibos: Caramel, creamy flavour with a rooibos base.
- Cinnamon rooibos
- Vanilla lavender rooibos
- Lemon green tea
- Espresso flavoured black
- English breakfast black

Also don't mind sweet rooibos or black teas iced. Anyone who comes here in the summer gets a special strawberry raspberry iced blend.

Lipton works fine for me. The only thing I'll say is that I prefer half and half with my tea. Maybe some sugar, too. I have a big sweet tooth.

No, just no. Absolutely not. Milk and tea should never happen. You also shouldn't have to add sugar. If you need to add either of those your tea isn't that great. Do that to coffee but not tea.

And no, I'm actually not that fond of Earl Grey.

That's just your opinion. :P

I have a major sweet tooth. And I'm American. So idk why this comes as a shock.
