| Post subject: | Which social media do you use most? |
Which social media outlet do you find yourself using the most and why is it your favorite? I primarily use Twitter for social media. It's the most used social media at my college and to me is the easiest way to access mass information to my friends and fellow university students. My Facebook is primarily used for keeping in contact with family and posting statuses so my parents know i'm alive when i'm traveling for school. Facebook is very controlled because it's what will be looked at when applying for jobs so i keep it clean. Twitter on the other hand is the wild west of social media, i can use it to organize parties for my fraternity while basically running a mini-blog all in under 140 characters so its short and sweet but the best outlet to me for mass information. |

I like Facebook. I'm not active on it, but it does help with keeping track of friends and other people you know. Close second is Linkedin. Definitely more useful as a professional/job/networking site. It'll probably become more important and useful as time goes on and I get older. |

I find facebook very useful because literally everybody has one, and it is an easy way to communicate with friends. |

I don't understand how you can't have Facebook. Unless you keep in touch with everyone you want to via phone or text messaging or face-to-face, how do you function socially? For someone in my situation, where I live out of state from where I grew up, I HAVE to have Facebook to keep in contact with all my friends from school and college. Hell, even my best friends (here and in California) I use Facebook as my primary method. Even with my parents, I probably facebook message them more than I call them on the phone. |

I have no friends. But people who really want to stay in contact with me would just email me. |

<3 Oh and of course there's Steam as well for friends I play games with. Also doubles as an IM service without all the crappy ads and obnoxious font colors and giant emoticons. |

Facebook's pretty much the only one I use. I mean, where else can I post 10 funny pictures and 20 rants a day where everyone including my grandparents have the pleasure of viewing? |
