Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, to be known as Francis I, is the new pope of the Catholic Church. He's the first pope from Argentina, South America, the Western Hemisphere, and the first in more than 1000 years from outside Europe. He is also the first pope from the Jesuit Order. Very interesting choice.

Cause you know...that's the most important for a pope to be. A hockey fan. You know, I think this world would probably be better with fewer hockey fans. :shock:

As far as a pope is to go he seems pretty good. He seems like a people person and is fairly liberal on afew topics
