I stood the line to see the Avengers yesterday at night. Ten years of waiting for me (I knew an Avengers movie would come to life when I saw Spiderman in 2002, but I never knew I'd be alive to see it lol)
TEN **** YEARS of hype...

And I wasn't dispointed at all.
Truly brillant. Lots of action like you've never seen it. Excellent acting by Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki)
Every character get their time of glory, they always have many moment when they're shown truly epic. Capt is a magnificient leader, Thor is a badass as usual et Black Widow and Hawkeye are very awesome. I thought the last would have hard time to shine in the shadow of most of the most populars comic characters but no. Black Widow get lot of screen time and she is an amazing fighter and Hawkeye must be the greatest ranger of all times. I thought the plot would be too simple, but when you know comics a little bit, you know where this is going and you KNOW it is only the begining of something truly amazing.

SEE THIS MOVIE! You have to see it before you die.

Batman is from DC Universe and The Avengers are all from Marvel Comics. Two very different companies lol. [-X
It's kinda like confusing Pokemon with Digimon, this happens regulary.

Actually Hawkgirl is mostly in Justice League in the cartoon rather than in the comics. The woman who is always in Justice League is Wonder Woman. And her movies always get cancelled for unknown reasons. It ***** me because I want to see a Super hot princess with an overly sexy costume kicking some asses. And let's pray they don't throw out Aquaman. Aquaman sucks.
I think they could make Martian Manhunter (Jon) like they did Mystique in X-Men...Body paint. Batman might get rebooted (sadly) after The Dark Knight Rises so it will be a new actor who wont have a growling voice and an universe more supernatural. Superman is getting a new movie in 2013 which look very badass. Flash is in progress top priority, apparently. And for Green Lantern...well even if I didn't LOVED the movie, I don't think Ryan Reynolds was an HORRIBLE choice...I think he could deliver a much better performance with a better plot.

But you know, Marvel has always been far better than DC for movies. And I'm not talking about movies SOLD to studios like Sony and Fox (Like Spiderman, X-Men, Fantastic Four)
Marvel Studios did Iron Man 1 and 2...both were good. The Incredible Hulk (2008) was nice. I liked Thor, but then again, Loki steals the show. I loved Captain America.
The Avengers combines every strong point of every character and make it frontline. Marvel Studios CARES for their characters. DC too, but they fails when they try (remember Superman Returns) DC don't really make epic movies, aside Batman. In fact, Batman seems to be their only character.

I was joking. It has more to do with the person I was responding after. Obviously, you didn't catch that. #-o

I have never seen any of the movies before the Avengers so I don't know if I will see this. Might have a movie marathon with Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man 1 & 2. Then I might go see The Avengers.

I thought it was going to be **** cause it had Thor and captain america in it. Both of which sucked *** in there last two films. Thankfully Thor was likeable in this one and America was mostly useless just standing around acting like a tool. Which is what i generally expect of him.

Fear not though because Iron man, Thor and (**** eventually) the hulk take center stage and make it a good film. Storys a bit stupid but it does the job. I also had no idea who ranger guy and spy lady was cause i don't read comic books. But they was alright. Not as ****** as a certain other character whos only real power is throwing a shield at people which if you think about what a shield is and what it's used for is a pretty **** stupid thing to do anyway but what do you expect.

I'll save you some time. See Iron man 1 and 2. There both great films. Skip hulk 1 cause it's ****. Watch hulk 2 cause it's awesome. Skip captain America cause it's retarded and crap. And the ending makes no sense. Worst marvel film I've seen. Even worse than those crappy spiderman films.

Concerning that, Hulk 2003 have no connection with Hulk 2008. They're two differents story, even if they SEEM to be sequels, the 2008 movie is a reboot. But since it doesn't go back in time and tell the origin story (it just shows some flashbacks), people often get confused about that. So in the current universe, Hulk never battled David Banner (which was an invented character by scripts but had the same power as Absorbing Man.)
Well that reboot was a great move. And there's rumors to have a sequel with Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner. The vilain will probably be The Leader.

And Trekkie, Thor must be one of the most important movie because Loki is the main villain in Thor AND The Avengers.
However the best movie is clearly Iron Man. Either of them. Incredible Hulk is badass and I liked Capt very much.
Storyline goes like this: Iron Man 1, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Capt, The Avengers.
Iron Man 2 is the movie you get to know mostly about SHIELD and Black Widow. In Thor, Hawkeye (the guy with the bow) makes a brief cameo.
