I've been thinking lately about whether or not to change my name on RSBandB. Just putting up a simple poll to ask and see what you guys think. If I did decide to change my name, it would become Moochmaker. |

I find it very confusing when someone changes their name. Especially if the person has had their name for quite a while. Ingrained in my brain is the relationship with player named "Duke Juker". Changing it, almost starts a new relationship. I think that's because many players have lots of friends in-game and sometimes it's hard to keep track of them all. Keeping your name the same maintains the longstanding relationship memories you have with other players. |

Though the option is available to change your name, I always find it best to ask people who know you first before you change it. I understand it can be really confusing especially if you've had a name for quite a few years. The other thing about my name is that it's my name in Runescape as well. Looking back, I should have chosen Moochmaker from the start as it's the name I like and use for all my other gaming accounts (9 times out of 10, if you see Moochmaker, it's probably me...except for the account on Myspace that uses it...I don't use Myspace). But I had never picked a username at the time and it was my first try that I can remember. Anyways, it seems the overwhelming majority want me to leave as is. And that's what I shall do.
