I personally didn't feel it either, but my mom said that her table was shaking... I didn't notice any shaking though. Not very often that such powerful earthquakes affect the east coast (or any earthquakes for that matter). I didn't believe it at first but then I looked it up and it was real... I hope everyone is safe and there was minimal or no damage. |

We felt it here big time. We are about 50 miles north of Philadelphia. I was standing in our dining room on the first floor, and started hearing the wind chimes in the kitchen, yet there was no wind outside. Then it sounded like someone was running and jumping around on the floor above. Scary stuff considering it was only 5.8 and over 300 miles away from us. The only worry I had immediately was the nuclear power plants in the area. We have four of them within 100 miles, including the famous three mile island plant. After what happened to Japan's plants, it makes me a little nervous. |

We felt this at school while we were eating lunch lol. A few friends and I eat in the music room with our band teacher instead of the cafeteria because it is so crowded, and everything started shaking. Everbody was saying "are we shaking?" It was pretty funny haha. =D |

I live in Central PA and felt it a little bit. I was outside at the pool. My dad on the other hand, was in his office building and said he felt it big time. |

I didn't feel it here in Rhode Island. I was mowing the lawn when it happened. My mother ran out side looked at me, didn't say anything, and ran back inside. I thought she was crazy for a moment. She felt it apparently. |
