I'll probably see it at some time next weekend. Big fan for about 10 years now. I'm really excited about it, and I'm really glad they split it into 2 parts to do it justice.

For anyone who needs to get hyped for it, have a look at the final trailer:

Lol I read book 1-6 and then half of seven or 1-5 and half of six and seven, I can't remember. I used to like them when I was younger.

I was at my dad's a few weeks ago and his gf has all the movies released and I was bored so I was like "well I'll watch 4 and 5 since I only seen parts of 4". It turned out I saw more parts of 5 than of 4 which is pretty weird since I don't even remember kind of watching 5.

Anyways since I watched those I decided I'd try to read them all so I could read the 7th book... since it would probably be better to read them in order before deciding to read the last one since I haven't read any since like grade 6.

So I read the first one and I'm halfway through the second. I have to say, had I not been in grade 4 when I read the first, I don't think i'd have liked it lmao.
But I think it'd be good for me to finish the series because that's kind of dumb not finishing them especially how much I used to enjoy them.

Anyways in all that rambling I won't see the 7th pt2 until I read the 7th and I wont read the 7th until I've reread 1-6 and I won't see the 7th pt2 until I've seen the 7th pt1 and I won't see that until I see the 6th and I won't make any effort to see the 6th soooo. One day.

Well, I've only gotten to book 4 (The Goblet of Fire) and I haven't read it in a while. I really should read the books before seeing the movie. I also need to watch all the movies over again. I should really do that first, but it's probably gonna be fricken sweet to be in there with a full audience. Better hurry then. :P

Edit: Crap. I have less than 5 days. May just watch all the movies and then go to the last one friday. That's a lot of movie watching for one week.

I was in grade 6 when my teacher had us read the first Harry Potter book. I bought all the others as they came out. It really bugs me though that I have the paperback scholastic US version of the first book and the british hardcover of the rest. The scholastic versions have ugly covers and they retitled Philospher's stone to Sorcerer's stone, what is up with that? I might have to replace that someday…

As for the movies, I'm not really that into them. I don't generally go to movies unless someone else I know really wants to see something in theatres. I wait for them to become "free" on the movie central channels here to watch them. I saw the Half-blood prince movie a few months ago and thought it was a pretty good adaptation.

It was renamed cause the American publishers didn't think Americans would get Philosopher stone. If that's true or not i dunno. Fairly stupid either way.

Wont be seeing this. Don't care enough I'll wait for it to hit TV like all the other ones I've seen.

Lol I have british version of the 1st but I damaged it too much and in a scholastic book order it was like 10¢ so I got the scholastic published one. But I guess it was scholastic Canada or something because it has the Bloomsbury cover and is still called the Philopsher's Stone. My Prisoner of Azkaban was also published by scholastic but it has the Bloomsbury cover.
The Bloomsbury adult covers are nice though, I'd buy the set of them if you could get them cheap but I doubt it HAHA

I did the HP movie marathon in a week sometime in June, was pretty fun. I still think the 4th one is annoying to me, as far as how much they cut out, and Umbridge really saves the 5th one. The rest are really good though. I like the 6th's humour. :P

I'm going at midnight just like I have for the past 3 movies. Although I can't wait to see it, it's gonna be pretty sad because it's the end of Harry Potter no more books and movies now

It was a fun 10 years though!

That isn't true. She hyped up something on her website for a week or so with a count down. Turned out to be some crappy harry potter thing online. Might as well be fanfiction but you know that's something. Heres her stupid video for it;

Coincidence that this shows up just as the last film comes out and her gold supply runs dry? Course not. You wont be able to get rid of the little four eyed sod hes to much of a gold mine.

I doubt her "gold supply" has run dry - she's still one of the richest people in Britain after all.
