Eh, I don't think he's the great of a guy or deserves the recognition. Can't think of anyone of the top of my head who deserved it more. |

I'd say he's influenced a lot in the past maybe, but this year? There weren't that many ingenious additions to Facebook for me to say that he deserves the award this year. Maybe it was because of The Social Network, idk. |

I didn't know who the **** he was till i clicked the link. Might as well have been scooby doo. How about we give the award to a doctor. Hes not famous but hes helped people. Facebook is an annoyance to me. Everytime someone asks me if i have flipping facebook and everytime i say no and everytime i get a funny look. What the hell is wrong with a mobile phone and a contacts list. It works fine. If i want you i call you. If you want me you call me. You can text, send photos and videos as well. It works. It's easy. I don't need a website to keep track of all the little details of your life cause your not that **** interesting. That's what i say to them everytime. I've lost a lot of friends giving that speech. All of them actually. Hmm. |

I don't really see what he did THIS YEAR to get Person of the Year. Maybe if this was a couple of years ago it would be fine... I haven't heard much about him this year at all anyways. |

I have to agree, nothing major about Facebook this year. I am happy with the choice though since it's better than readers' choice ![]() The only other person I'd have liked to see is the former BP CEO. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Hayward ? "we're sorry for the massive disruption it's caused to their lives. There's no one who wants this thing over more than I do, I'd like my life back." Yeah, that would have been a good choice. |

I could go knock on his door and pass on a message if you like. I agree though give it to him. Without him there wouldn't have been that great south park episode. |

Even though it's really only been the last 5 months or so, it's had quite some influence. |

I think because Assange was so recent and hadn't been recognized "throughout the entire year," he wasn't really a candidate for the award. That being said, I still think with everything surrounding Wikileaks and the implications of it, Assange should have got the award. Even with all Facebook has done and the matters surrounding that, Zuckerburg shouldn't be getting this. Way too late. |
