Is anyone else jobless and having trouble finding a job? Any ideas on where to look for one? I've tried about everything I can think of. Craig's list, moster.com, career builder, actually going store-to-store, and no luck. Any other ideas? Or maybe any ideas on some irregular job markets that most people wouldn't look into? |

Theres plenty of job websites about that let you Upload your CV to them and they find you matches, can't say I've ever tried them but I'd imagine you can get a few ideas from sites like that. If all else fails, buy a newspaper. |

I have a job but looking for a new one isn't going too well. If you're just after a bit of cash, what you need to do is make up a CV, and go to the nearest town or mall and just give every shop one, chances are out of 100 shops, you're going to get at least one reply. But if you're after a specific employment, then I really can't help because that's what I'm doing, but what with the whole recession thing going down everyone is being **** careful with spending. |

Curriculum Vitae. I believe they call them Resumes in the US. |

Try getting on your knees and begging? ![]() I have a seasonal time job doing soccer refereeing. My parents are pretty well off, but they still want me working. So I picked up soccer refereeing. Not much advice I can give on finding a job. Just keep looking. If you are desperate, don't turn down any job offers because you don't like them. Anything is better than nothing. I've never been to that point, but if I ever was there, I would never turn down any job I was offered. |

I have no idea if you have those in your daft country or not, but it's essentially an option instead of college (16+?). One of my mates is an apprentice at IBM, repairing and diagnosing computer problems, and he's pulling £16k a year and he's only 17. |
