LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police are looking for a man who beat up a 16-year-old girl at a McDonald's counter after she complained about him cutting in line.

Police announced their investigation Tuesday night and posted surveillance video online.

Police say the girl, her 5-year-old niece and a friend were standing in line on Sept. 14 at the McDonald's in South Los Angeles. The suspect and two young boys then approached the counter when the 16-year-old started arguing with the man over who was first in line.

Police say the girl swore at the man, who then got angry and punched her in the face several times.

The suspect left with the boys in a red pickup truck.

The teenager was treated for her injuries at a hospital and released.

I like a good fight, 3 on 1 sounds fun. I mean really i would of had to do something if i was there. But the way laws work in California he'll get 3 years probation and 100 hours community service.

People need to learn how to compose themselves in public anyway. I'd never strike a person no matter what they did or said to me. I think people in a civilized society should be above that sort of behaviour.

I didn't say anywhere in my post you had to be fat to eat at or like McDonalds. Also note use of the word 'probably'.

Wow talk about overreacting. Not too long ago there was a bit of an incident where I work where two girls (lesbians, duh) gave each other a kiss, and some bloke with his wife and daughter didn't like it so he went over and punched one of them. Well you know, sit down and shut up. Men are hunters, we hunt cows! WE GET HUNGRY WHEN HUNTING DAY AND NIGHT, we deserve our big macs without a woman in our ear whining over it. Seriously though, no idea what this "man" looked like but it's a bit petty to stand there swearing and shouting, on the other hand it's a bit petty to smack her in the face. Your argument is rhetorical. You can keep bashing it out all you want. But this forum is not the place for it. We opted not to permanently ban you a few weeks back because we believed you were mature enough to not pull crap like this anymore, I'm beginning to think now we were wrong. Back on topic unless you'd like to rectify our error. And FYI, continue to argue and tacking on some relevant sentence at the end still constitutes immaturity and rule breaking.
