I'm curious to know what all you guys are reading. They can be books for school, books you read because you like them, really any kind of books. I just finished Airframe by Michael Crichton, and just started Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. ![]() ![]() |

Ah I have so many books I want to be reading now/reading/just read. I just finished Catcher in the Rye for my English class. ![]() I'm in the middle of the book Wicked but I had to take a break because I feel like I don't have enough time. ![]() I am also in the middle of The Amber Spyglass. ![]() And I just got the book The Hobbit and I really want to start reading that too. ![]() I just finished reading 2 nonfiction books about writing that were really boring too >_< Also had to read that for my English class recently. Ah they were so boring. ![]() ![]() But oh man I love books. |

For school ... and I don't feel like getting flamed to a crisp for something the school requires us to read (we only have to understand it, not so much believe it .. and it was banned from many schools apparently), but yeah: ![]() ![]() Interesting reads, really, there's lots of ideas and themes and whatnot going through the book and essays (obviously the two are related, transcendentalism idea, nature: holy, yeah). I never would've gotten all the symbols and themes involved in the book if it hadn't been for my english teacher ... in the end it was interesting, but reading it without having a clue seemed dull. Other than school, I picked something out of my bookcase the other day: ![]() Also reading the 2nd book in Harry Potter for the heck of going through the series again. |

I read 'No Country For Old Men' a few weeks back on holiday after seeing the film. Probably the only film that comes close to how amazing the book was. I have plenty of books I've bought but never read waiting on my bookshelf but I've gotten really lazy in regards to reading in the past few years. |

Raptor red(sounds ***, but its not) and I need to buy the 6th artemis fowl book, the 9th pendragon book, I might read the twilight series, and Brisigr. Veggie Eater wrote: I am also in the middle of The Amber Spyglass. One of the best series out there. The ending is beautiful. |

I heard all the hype about the Artemis Fowl series. I started reading the first book; kind of bland so far. D: |
