Post subject:  My Freshman HS Schedule
We got our Freshman HS schedules today. Here is mine.

English 9 - All year - P1
German 1 - All year - P2
Algebra - All year - P3
Lunch - Sem. 2 - P4
Lunch - Sem. 1 - P6
Earth/Space/Physical Sciences - All year - P7,8
Speech and Debate - Sem. 1 - 9,10
Microsoft Apps. (Programming/Networking Intro) - Sem. 2 - P9,10
American History - All year - P11
PE - Sem. 1 - P12
Art 1 - Sem. 2 - P12

Period 5 is Study hall all year, but Sem. 1, I also get P4 for study hall, and in Sem. 2 I get Period 6 for study hall too.

Total credits: 6.75

not bad, my next years schedule has only English 102 AP, MATH ALGEBRA I and Beginning CS + Linear Algebra.

How long does your day go? Seems like it's cramming quite a few classes in a 6 period day.

It is about bout 9 periods in Jr. High and each class is 55 minutes long, except four of 30 minutes exactly. From there, I don't feel like working it out.

8 am to 3 pm, actually. 7 hours.

My freshman college schedule... for the first semester.

ENG 111-English Composition
MAT 1XX-Intermediate Algebra or Higher
CIT 106-Microcomputer Operating Systems
IVY 1XX-Life Skills Elective


But your schedule dosnt look that hard so it should be an easy year.

Wtf is study hall. I thought that preperation would be left to your own responsibility. :oops: I'd like to take German but it's not offered at my school. XD

My first year | this year comparison is:
Sem1:
P1: Gen. Visual Arts | Academic Science
P2: Academic Canadian Geography | Academic Mathematics
--Lunch
P3: Academic Science | T1: Careers T2: Civics
P4: Academic Mathematics | Introduction to Business

Sem2:
P1: Physical Education i.e gym | Academic Canadian History
P2: Business Technology | Gen. Visual Arts
--Lunch
P3: Academic English | Academic English
P4: Applied French | Academic French

We don't get our schedules for next year until end of June, but the courses I have next year (in order of priority): Academic English, Functions, World History to the 16th Century, Canadian Law, Academic Chemistry, Academic Physics, General Visual Arts, and Information and Communication Technology.
Looking back at my choices they're kind of... yeah, some I probably should have choosen differently. Like Canadian Law and Chemistry.

Study hall is a place where we do nothing including following read books,use computer,do homework. or sleep.
