According to a new French study that was inspired by the movie Supersize Me, a diet consisting of only fast food is actually likely to raise good cholesterol. So, let me get this straight: We've been told forever that saturated fats clog your arteries, and now they're saying they may actually help unclog them? The people involved in the experiment did suffer major liver damage, however. Those in charge of the study say that soft drinks may be the culpit. So, to summarize: - Quarter Pounder with Cheese = Healthy - Large Soda = Unhealthy Or at least that's what these guys say. |

Any form of food is good for you, it's about having it in the right quantity's. Too much of anything is bad for you, you just need to have a balanced diet. |

i watched that movie in science and i dont eat fast food anymore. well maybe chick fil 'a and taco bell. but i dont see how that trash is healthy! |

It probably is good for certain parts of your body, but it is overall bad for most of the body. |

There may be high HDL, but there are so many other drawbacks to eating such unhealthy food. You truly don't know what they put in fast foods. It's kind of gross. |

Well, in fact it can lower your cholesterol, if you don't eat sugar. But it's bad for your liver. |
