Is this the right way to go? I, personally am not a vegetarian, for I believe that if we weren't supposed to eat meat, why do they have so many vitamins and protein in them that we require in our bodies for strength? I am religious, (Which is kinda rare around here. ![]() Disclaimer: I didn't meant to offend any Vegetarians here, I'm open to my own point of view. ![]() |

Animals are here cause they are. There's no real reason for em, the same as a humans life is rather pointless as well. There's no point to it but we still carry on day to day. I eat meat cause well, i don't care. Cows and things are bred PURELY to be eaten. Some animals however deserve our protection and should be better treated, in dangered species and the works. |

I love being a vegetarian. WE DONT need to eat meat to survive. I have been a vegetarian all my life. The reason that we get a bad name for being malnutritions is because 1. The US gov downs it down the throghts of Americans that you have to eat meat and dairy products. 2. for idiots that think they dont need to have substitutes for protine. Vegetarians have been proven to be healthier, live an average of 10 years longer, suffer from less desises, and get sick less. So yeah, I love being a vegetarian. It rocks. And on a religious factor, why would god make animals feel such pain if he intended for us to kill them? Little fact: since I have not grown up on meat, if i eat even a hamburger, i will get really really ill. Edit: oh and I dont think your poll is fair. Vegetarians dont just eat vegetables. the Vege in Vegetarian doesnt even mean vegetable, it comes from a Latin root word =-p |

I see nothing wrong with it, but I'm not a vegetarian myself. I know there are health benefits to being a vegetarian, but I quite like chomping down a piece of bloody red beef steak. ![]() I see nothing wrong with fruits or vegetables, though. Pears and oranges and cucumber are all really nice. I'd happily have a vegetarian diet if that was all that was on offer. I might end up having to be a veggie at uni, since it's far cheaper, too. |

It's called the food chain. Animals eat other animals, it's natures way. I share no feeling with vegetarians, for I believe that not eating meat is just silly. Meat is healthy, it tastes good, and should be a normal part of life. And I don't need to be a vegetarian to be healthy. If most people could combine a regular diet with regular exercise, everyone would be healthy. Ranging God, I'm sure your statistic is like that because it includes the morons who engorge on food and get themselves heart disease or something. |

I eat a lot of meat. There really is nothing wrong with it if you balance the diet along with a lot of vegetables as well. Unlike Henry VIII. |
