Post subject: | Need Science Fair Ideas! |
I am required to participate in a state wide science fair. However, I can't think of anything I could do it on. The ideas have to be at a 9-12th grade level. And it can be on ANYTHING as long as it is TESTABLE. Anyone got any ideas? ![]() |

How about a demonstration with light? Ie. Prisims, mirrors, materials of different refractive indecies. You could demonstrate refraction, reflection, and diffraction! As well as create some cool images. You could build a "light spedometer" because when light passes through different mediums it slows down. Have a vacumn tube with the default 3.0x10^8 m/s then go from there. That would be fun ![]() Another idea is to get a nice telescope and measure the radiation emitted from a star of your choice. From this you can tell what the star is made of, what gases surround it, and the temperature. This one would be slightly more involved as you'd need to aquire a telescope that can see more than your eye ![]() |

Please the one cool idea is to blow **** up. Test how explosive different materials are or something. Lots and lots of bangs. Blowing **** up is fun and people like watching it. |

Rofl, I feel so badly. All the science experiments I ever did on my own were constructing models of the planets in the solar system and making volcanoes. |

you can test what other things can make a volcano erupt instead of using baking soda ![]() |

Well you could try magnets, heres a good idea try to make a magnet that is small, but powerful enough to lift a few cans of food of the ground, I worked on this project during my freshman year its kinda hard to make...you could also try to make robotized magnet..but you would have to shell out tons of money just for that. |
