My old school was in the news a few times for stabbings, although fortunately, I wasn't there at the time.
You gotta be careful nowadays, look at someone the wrong way and you'll end up like a sponge.

At school, someone had a knife with a 7" blade. He tried to shank my friend, but my friend tackled him, sending it to the floor. I picked it up and examined it, and it was a real knife. Meanwhile, my friend was punching the guy and kicking his a**. I, however, was frozen with fear. I've never been faced with anything like this. I ran to the office as fast as I could, and reported it, and called the police on my cell. I am still shaking, I don't know why it wasn't in lockdown. It's rare for my state to have these kinds of things happen. Have you ever had a student with a weapon at your school? |

Only once but since i am in ROTC, and our school has metal detectors its pretty hard to pass with a weapon, but yes it did happen once a guy came with a knife once but since most of us ROTC people roam the hallways we usually can disarm them. but its very rare in my school! |

Guess your friend should be a bit more careful about who he annoys in future. Lets face it, you don't attempt to stab someone without good reason. Not that I'm agreeing with what he did. |

Actally, yes, I've been confronted with Knives and a Pistol at my school. The metal detectors are hard to pass at my school, I don't know how they got passed them, but they did. I still haven't gone to that school since. |

Well stuff happens...I remember that time when i was in 8th grade JROTc, some little kid brought his dads gun for show and tell...someone ******* their pants.and i clearly remember it on hall patrol duty while passing the 1st grade. |

I had a student come up behind me and put a knife around my neck at a football game. The five people (girls) around me just started screaming instantly, I just told the guy he better choose his next moves wisely, and asked him if he was serious. Well the cops came, and they had to talk the guy off of me. Result: They (police/school) asked me if I wanted him out of his current sport, and if I wanted to put him in jail. I just told them to kick him off his current team, but no jail time. . .for now. |

Wow that sucks man...good thing nobody got hurt. As for if it happens in my school...No, people are to afraid in my school to do anything like that. I dont think anything like that has EVER happend in my school.

Some retard bought a BB gun into school the other day and some people we're messing around with it. However he only got a 3 day suspension and then went on holiday the next day! Honestly, I hope the next time he makes a bad move, he's gone for good. |

We haven't had any weapon issues (to my knowlage), but a few drug issues.. WTF in 5th and 6th grade schools?

You've gotta be a bit **** in the head to attempt to stab anyone for any reason. Nevertheless I'm not agreeing with what your friend did... "Punching the guy and kicking his a**" is not the most mature way of dealing with the situation.
