I remember Ult posting a RSBANDB Wiki some time ago, and I just thought up an idea.

How about we make biographies of ourselves in the wiki? Except that it has to be in third person.

Wouldn't that take up tons of space since there are loads of members here.
And if everyone woud write about thereselfs, it would take like 1 terabyte :\

We are a small community, and I think there's about just roughly 20-30 regulars here so that'll work fine.

Meh, let's just make a lottery and decide who is writing a forum biography about who? Is more interesting.

Considering that a character is equal to a byte we could never use a terabyte.

IF you were to save all members of RSB&B (over 3k)biography into a .txt file, it would take alot.
And do you mean that only 30 people can write their biography there?

If you wrote a 150,000 word book about all 3500 registered b&b users, you wouldnt even be at 4 gig.

Also, why? Whats the point in the biographies?

And where is this wiki, anyway....?

This has been brought up and there is no Wiki that is official for rsbandb. The request to have it made was denied

Why was it denied?

I believe the reason it never officially happend was because it would require heavy moderatoring, etc..but..you can always try to ask for it :D

No..

Ult made a wiki randomly about rsbandb and it never really went anywhere, it was never denied cause no one really payed any attention to it.

ORIGINALLY the plan was that rsbandb would be a wiki so all RUNESCAPE related content would be easy to add and such (not rsbandb, like this topic and ults wiki was made for.) but it was decided it would be to hard to moderate, which is true.

And as we only want the best, better than everyone else a wiki just wont cut it.

So instead Mike and Shane have there own plans which will make it extremely easy to add content to the site..sadly it takes quiet a bit of work to get set up. But it'll be worth it in the long run.
