Post subject: | Nintendo DS and Sony PSP |
Hello! I'm just willing to extend my knowledge about good games that are on those two handheld consoles. So, this thread is about sharing with other people which games you liked in one of those two consoles, in order to share thoughts and stuff like that about games and make other people have ideas on what next game they should buy etc. So, I'll start with some games! On Nintendo DS, I liked: - Final Fantasy III ---RPG - The Two Castlevania's (Dawn of Sorrow + Portrait of Ruin)---Adventure - Kirby Squeak Squad--- Adventure - Brothers In Arms--- FPS On PSP: - GTA: Liberty City Stories--- GTA Style (third person shooting and stuff) - GTA: Vice City Stories--- GTA Style (''...'') - Monster Hunter--- Coolness - Lumines (haha, Gontcha ![]() Hope you get my point, and if it just looks weird and irrelevant, just forget that thread and let it die. PS: If you could also add the Type of game (RPG,FPS, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Well, since I like Pokemon, the DS is great for that! The new Pokemon games enables you to battle and trade people from all over the world if you have Wi-Fi. My little bro is buying a DS soon, so I can wait to try out the online battle feature. |

I understand your point about pokemon and mario but there are lots of interesting games for NDS, such as the ones I stated in my first post. I don't think FF 3 is childish at all. Neither do I think about Kirby or even Brothers in Arms ![]() I reckon GTA is ownage though ![]() |

I have a DS. ![]() I don't see why shooting people and "grown-up games" are considered more fun cause a rating doesn't make it so, games are fun and if it's able to be played by a 2yr old or a 40yr old shouldn't make it "childish". XD I've enjoyed; Super Mario 64 DS - Very challenging in places and a lot of things to do. Red Coins and all the stars, all the bunnies and minigames as well. Very good game, but it is a port from the original. 9/10 New Super Mario Brothers - Gets a little boring towards the end, and there's not really a lot of challenge after completion. The minigames are from the 64 port, unfortunately. But it's fun nonetheless. I'd rate it 7/10. Sonic Rush - It's a Sonic game. Its fast, straightforward, challenging in areas and has the amazing music that's always made Sonic games great. I'm a little biased but i would definitely buy this game. But, it's somewhat short and there's nothing to do after completion. 9/10 Yoshi's Island DS - Decent game, with the sound off. Baby's cries are very annoying and the levels can be seemingly impossible. Very challenging in later levels and the bosses can be very easy. Nevertheless, if you've played the original you'll know that it's a good game. The only disappointing thing is that they have re-used some bosses. 6/10 Animal Crossing - Slow Paced but fun, but only if you have friends with the game a well. The game wears off on you after a while though. 7/10 l0l. i r gam critic. |

Anubis, I heard about Animal Crossing, what kind of game is it? I agree with most of your points about other games too. Yoshi Island was funny, but the snes game was better tbh ![]() |

I have been wanting to play it, and since Lord Zammy is buying a DS, and AC is only like 15 bucks, I am going to buy it. I think it is like a RPG where you can do what ever u want. Like farming and stuff I believe. |

There's a lot to do in it, but really - if you play it single player for too long then it'll get boring. There's not really any farming in it though. But it's been in the top 20 since it was released in '05. So you know it's good. ![]() |

Best games ever (IMO) MGS: PO (Owns and I'm a MGS fanboy...) Dungeon siege, throne of agony (nice GFX, though repetitive gameplay)ยต Ace combat Skies of deception, this game just owns, period. SFTB I 100% completed SFTB II Meh, I have lot others, but they aren't worth mentioning ![]() Btw, Tidus, have you got a white startup screen yet? ![]() |
