Post subject:  solving global warming. Any thoughts?
First of all, we can use other ways of making paper. We can use rice paper and slow down production on the main paper factories that use trees for paper that way there is very little paper made from trees on the market and people will have to buy the rice paper. Paper can also be made from elephant dung. I know it sounds gross, but it certainly is efficiant and zoos would get a little profit from it. Another simple solution is to start powering everything by wind. This would certainly help places like Austrailia. I heard that on the discovery channel Austrailians use alot of coal. Wind power would improve the air quility over there.

Anything else?

Uh, stop cutting down trees. :|

Imo, cars are being used too much, which is also a reason why so many people are obese. Less driving, more walking/cycling.

Use Indiana corn to make Bio Fuel.......Also, any engine larger then 6 cyl. should be banned. A Single mom driving her kid around in a 8 cyl. gas engine should be shot for stupidy...

Bio fuel doesnt help. It's still carbon-based. We need hydrogen.

Being honest, I dont think global warming will be solved. It's too late.

Yeah... Maybe in the future we can fix the hole in the ozone layer. People will probably just mess it up again though. The only real answer to fueling cars is hydrogen. Carbon based fuel is just plain stupid. Perhaps there will be a way to undo the damage we've done to the ice caps by some how re-freezing them. Earth is the only planet we have. It would take 1000 years to terraform mars to make it a place for us to live.

I heard some engineers made a air pressured car. And just ban cars. Just get a good public transport system. That would reduce the CO2 level with tons.

Banning cars, for instance if you play airsoft and the place is 20Miles away, how will you get there, are you going to get on a bus with a gun/rifle? What I really think we should Just use Mopeds/Motocycles, the produce much less carbon than the cars.But its too late now.

Agreed. I live in a town that's really spread out and small, nothing to get around with except a car, though. But really people, don't drive 1 mile to go to the store, walk there please D:

The pollution creates global dimming, and that's what blocks part of the Sun's rays, so either way you can't stop it. The only thing worth doing is building a time machine and to tell people about it in the past.

It's not a problem that can be fixed. Climate change is perfectly natural and graphs show that it's 100% likely to get to a certain point, and then we'll cool down again. We can however, lessen the effects.

Well, even small things will help like using public transit instead of everyone driving their own vehicles. For instance, riding a public bus to work instead of driving there in your own vehicle. Also, I strongly agree that the cutting down of rainforests and trees needs to stop imediatley.

The obvious way is to ban anything that emits a reasonable amount of carbon. Especially the obese countries. Introduce a good, environmentally friendly, efficient public transport system known as 'legs' and we're set. Stop pointless commodities like Airsoft. But hey, it's the next generation's problem.
