Is Snape good or evil??? I think he is good. Reason. Snape knew that Doubledore was going to die from the poison anyways, they has already communicated this to each other. So Snape is going to prove one more to the Dark Lord that he is faithful to him. Somehow I think Snape is going ot prove to harry that he is on the good side, I just dont know how... Who do you think is the person who's initials are in the locket? |

I think it's Regulas _ Black. I thought of this a while ago, and thought no one else thought of it, then I listened to a podcast, and everyone was talking about it -.- And I think that Snape is good. My reasons: Snape saved Harry's life. Though he could have just been saving him for Voldemort. But wouldn't Quirral have known? In the OOTP, when they were in that teachers office and Harry saw the vision of Sirius, Snape came in and harry said some stuff to him that he understood, but no one else did. He could have just ignored it and acted like it didn't mean anything. Snape knew that if he tried to save Dumbledore, all of the Death Eaters would have killed both of them. That was pretty much Snape's only way of surviving and staying on good terms with Voldemort. Snape could have used that thing that puts thoughts into others brains. So, Dumbledore must have been able to, also. Maybe Dumbledore sent Snape killing him to Snapes mind. |

Snape is good because uncle Voldy is good and stuff. <3 Okay, no. He's not. Why he saved Harry's life in book one is explained in beginning of book six, when Bellatrix and Narcissa were visiting Snape. It's not like Rowling to make Snape good, after what happened on book six. EDIT: Ranging God, if you mean that "poison" that Dumbledore was drinking in that cave, please remember that it was not killing. It was just supposed to be weakening the opponent enough for undeads from the lake to kill him. Though, this was a failure, and Dumby died from simple Avada Kedavra made by Snape. And Lord Zammorak. Like Dumbledore has said himself, and what is Voldemort's oppinion anyway, Snape IS a very skilled wizard and could kill the two death eaters easily. Snape is not a kind of guy who would kill somebody of his own to rescue his own skin. EDIT2: Also there's the unbreakable vow. Snape probably knew that Malfoy is not going to make it, and Snape is not that stupid to make the vow if the price is killing Dumbledore for nothing. |

i think we've had this discussion before, right after HBP came out. I still say that Snape is good, as he has done enough good deeds in the past. |

I reckon he is good. Heck, I don;t even think Dumbledore is dead, but hey, what do I know. I don't think he's dead, because that's not the typical effect of an Avada Kedavra spell. Is says he floated into teh air and fell to the ground, but in the other books when the spell is used, a green light fires out of the wand, killing them instantly, so therefore, I don't believe he's dead, and if anyone tries to convince me otheriwse, I won't listen. ![]() Anyways. Snape I think is good to a certain extent, I don't think is a freaking angel or anything, I just don't think he is under Voldemort's command. EIther he's pretending, and working for himself or some other idea like that. Personally, I just don't think that he is as evil as is described. I reckon that in the seventh book there will be a huge twist to the story, making him be on Harry's side. But hell, that's what I think. |

Snape is almost certainly good... here is why : How could the most powerful wizard of the time trust someone for so long if they were not trust worthy? If Snape didn't kill him then, he would have been killed due to the unbreakable vowe he agreed to. If Snape was good and didn't kill him then Voldemort would kill Snape because he had been a double agent all of this time. And last but not least... at the end of the book Dumbledore was begging Snape to do something, wheather it was not to kill him or to kill him we don't know, but I think he was begging Snape to kill him for the greater good. They had probably allready agreed if it was nessicary it would have to happen. I think R.B is Regalus Black but J.K. Rowling will probably just make it someone else to trick us lol. Those are my thoughts |
