What do you think? The rhythm, the hidden meaning behind the lyrics, the "speed" of the song, whatever it is. Personally I like songs with little to no vocals, because music means the sound of instruments playing simultaneously, instead of hearing some lead vocal's voice overwhelm the others. |

Although you make a good point, I have to disagree with you. Lyrics are the most important part of a song, with lyrics you know what the song is about because many people write songs based on life experiences or whatever. To sing a song But I too like to hear good rhythm and tempo in a song. |

Normally with rock music, a good guitar riff is a key part IMO. But sometimes the lyrics are so meaningful I just fall in love with the song (An example is The Fray - How To Save A Life) |

An original sound. Whether that be instrumental or vocal, that's what'll grab my attention over anything else. |

Deep meaning to the lyrics. Also understandable words and pleasant music. Great lyrics are nothing if the person is just screaming or the guitar overpowers everything... ![]() |
