Well, does your family have a trade that has been passed down through the generations. My family has a long tradition of farming. Most of my family are dairy farmers. Its a family trade. |

Isn't it trait? Meh we don't really have one. We do, however, follow many traditions passed down from generation to generation. |

Dunno, i was thinking trade, like skill. but maybe trait Erm? Trade is correct, not trait. You can't have the family "trait" of being farmers. It's a trade. I don't know. My family were merchants on my mum's side. Not sure about my dad's. |

From my grandfather up, on my fathers side of the family, They were all shoe repairers, well the men. My father tried it briefly when he left school and then gave up on it. I'd frankly rather jump off a bridge than repair shoes for a living. My grandmother on my fathers side used to work in a mental hospital. I guess that's how she put up with my grandfather. |

Basically everyone from both sides of my family are involved in petroleum engineering. Though, I wouldn't really consider it a family trade. It's just something that my family got involved in and the sons of the family decided on following the career, aswell. I doubt I'd study something like petroleum engineering though. For now, it's not high on my priority list. |

Everyone seems to do their own thing in my family. I'm sort of glad its like that because I don't want any feeling of being bound to a certain career. |
