Well that just sucks. I always enjoyed watching them in action, unfortunately never saw them in real life. Sucks to see a pilot apart of the best of the best go down though. |

They do have Emergency release in there but it may have happened way to fast so he didnt have time, or there was malfunction with the system. |

yes they do, they can eject from the plane, and then there parachute deploies, but when he deployed his he floated back down into fireball from his plane... |

Chances are a bird got sucked into the engine, unlikely as it is. While performing sharp maneuvers, having both engines working is vital. |
