Post subject:  Things you don't know

This is a little community experiment I am going to try. I came up with the idea a couple of days ago.

The basic idea is that you post things that you dont know. Be honest here, or it wont work.

Then, when the next person comes along, they read everything that others dont know, and If they do know something that someone else doesnt know, they post the answer.

Let's see if this works.

I'll begin:

I do not know the point or real advantages of using OOP programming over simpler programming, with functions and stuff.

(Mods: I apologise if this shouldnt be in Non-RS discussion. Just move it to the sandbox if you feel it should be in there.)

Good point, but I do know that you know something that you don't know and I also know that you know that you're spamming by posting that. ;)

I don't know the first thing about cars. I have no idea why people have "spoilers" (those little fins on the back) on their cars. Are they for decoration or what?

Well in racing spoilers are used for air to flow over them to keep the car on the ground, they create air flow. For your average street car there decoration.

I dont know about HTML code...

MQ- They break up the air flow in the back of the car, to keep a vacuum from forming, which drags on the car, making it slower/ possibly less efficient. Some can also produce down force, using the wind to force the car down harder on the ground. This gives extra grip, and helps maintain control. (In this case, it also slows the car down a bit, because forward motion is converted into downward force.)

What I don't know would be why DOT (Dept of transportation) keeps banning transport of gas...Like green gas which isn't flammeable.

Hm, well, HTML is a markup language. I've always seen that as meaning that it controls the appearance and function of web pages and such.

For a four-stroke engine, key parts of the engine include the crankshaft (purple), one or more camshafts (red and blue) and valves. For a two-stroke engine, there may simply be an exhaust outlet and fuel inlet instead of a valve system. In both types of engines, there are one or more cylinders (grey and green) and for each cylinder there is a spark plug (darker-grey), a piston (yellow) and a crank (purple). A single sweep of the cylinder by the piston in an upward or downward motion is known as a stroke and the downward stroke that occurs directly after the air-fuel mix passes from the carburetor to the the cylinder, where it is ignited; this is known as a power stroke.

Essentially having spoiler on a car produces more friction between the road and the wheels, the more friction, the more energy efficient a car is. However it is somewhat useless on most commercial cars since they don't reach speeds at which it is really nessecary. That's off the top of my head and I'm no expert.

Anyway, how does superposition create interference patterns? I've seen the Wiki article but that didn't make much sense.

Mass production, Well lets take bullets. In the old days the had to hand pack the gunpowder into the case and add the bullet, now a machine does all that and adds the firing pin. So in the time its takes to make one bullet you can make 100 bullets....mass production.

England has a queen so there is a ruler.
You speak Spanish by partially copying what they say but change it.
To begin a basic code, do <html><head><title>Basic</title></head><body>Hi</body></body>
HTML is making webpages (it can't do a lot of special stuff, though. You need PHP and Javascript and stuff to do that).

I don't know how to get more than 1,000 farming exp an hours, excluding lamps and Tears of Guthix.
