I'm going to play the 10 day WoW trial. Any tips on what I should do first? I would appreciate it!

Ehh, not helpful :P It's just 10 days, you surely have more advice than that!

Depends what class and race your going to choose. You can't really see a lot of the good stuff in wow till your higher level. Usually the higher level, the higher challenge, and a lot more fun. Unlike Runescape, there is no challenge, and it gets boring too quick.

On Runescape, if your high lvl magic, plus done most of the quests, you can get from one side of rs world to the other in 5mins if that.

WoW is huge, with almost endless things to do. So really your not going to get to explore much on a 10 day trial :P

As krazzi sayd.
There is just too much.
Pick a profession, have some fun with it.
Pick a class, kill some things.
I advise not to choose the Paladin because its boring as hell.
I had a lvl 29 paladin and it was so boring I deleted him and now have a lvl 20 hunter which pwnz.
If you havent already chosen a realm pick Twilight's Hammer and add Zvono (Y)

Create any kind of hunter be he anybody. Hunters are the easiest and perhaps by now are the easiest just to pick up and play. Get known to environment, do as many quests as you can. Quests are the main source of XP in WoW and are really rewarding since most of the rewards can be money, amour or any kind of weapons. Join a guild, don't be afraid to ask for help from people. Read WoW tips if little windows pop up while you play the game. If you want to make cash get known to AH, pick two gather professions such as Mining/Skinning or Herbalism/Skinning and sell the raw materials/goods to the Auction House for pure profit (during my first week I already had enough money from those 2 professions). Go to http://wow.allakhazam.com/ popular fansite, it has all the info about quests/items/anything else that you need to know about WoW. If you have anymore questions feel free to PM me.

Yeah Alexandrs right. Play hunter if it's your first time playing the game. It's the easiest at a lower level. Or if you had the time to play a lot you could level as many classes as you could to 10 to see which one you liked the most. And if you eventually get the game permanently play that class.

But yeah. If you have any specific questions you can message me on MSN. I'm pretty sure you have me added.

I know one that I wish I knew, try to avoid quests after level 10 (except class specific quests) THe ylevel you up to fast and by the time you are level 40, if you got their by doing quests you won't have any money for a mount. So, after level 10, look for some gudies for what monsters to farm for your level, it may seem slow leveling but you will have all the money you need. Also make sure you have a gathering skill I went with Mining and Skinning, they will make you quick cash fast.

With the 10 day trial you can't use the AH or join a Guild..

I'd say pick a class, take your time leveling, get used to the gameplay etc.

@alex: my main is a lvl 57 hunter and im bored of it, trust me dont chose hunters theyre far too easy and youll get bored too fast :)

@krusk: if you dont do quests youll be bored stiff grinding all the time - do quests whenever you can but only when theyre yellow/orange, and if you have none left go for green then red. :)

speak to me about different classes and ill say what i know about them.

It doesn't matter a what colour a quest is really. As long as it's Green/Yellow/Orange. The only difference in reward is for every level you are higher than the requirement, you will lose 500xp from the reward (For outland quests which average 10-12k xp per quest, not sure on the ratios for lower quests) and reversely for every level you are below the requirement you will gain 500xp on the reward. But I'm sure it only stacks to a certain amount on that. So it doesn't' matter what colour a quest is really, Although it is best to stick clear of red quests unless your grouping to do them and obviously grey quests will just be a waste of time.

Hunters are good for getting to know the game if it's your first time. They are boring for PvP and are pretty much useless in the vast majority of endgame raids, but they're the easiest class to play and best to learn the game with.

yeah but if you do make a hunter, id suggest changing class when you got grips to the game unless youre really happy with a hunter :)
and i was talking about the quest colour because if you do red quests too early later in the game youll have to quests to do, like me on varix atm i got about 2 quests in epl and silithus :? so i find it boring to lvl up because of the lack of quests and stuff.
