Well lucky me; I'm going to climb 1,776 steps for WWF I'm doing this with my high-school's Eco-serve group

Nice, I've been there before. When you get to the top, you'll see the kind of glass on the ground, when you look under you the tower looks like it's curved because it's so high lol.

They only have a small section where the floor is glass. I went there recently and heard they had to covered 80% of the flooring that was glass because there were cases that people fainted/passed out and other various problems. I think what you are doing Andy is terrific! Good luck on the steps.

I've stood up against it but we(my family) didn't have the money at the time to go up it. I'd take the stairs just to be able to brag to other people that I did it. :lol: :lol:

When I went there there was only a small area of the glass floor. My step father jumped on it and everyone got really frightened and mad thinking you could break the floor. :P

How long would climbing the stairs probably take?

Well the track teacher @ my school did it in like 16mins (He is currently running / ran the Boston marathon, & he's like 65+)

Me: probably 25-30 mins .. (Wishes for like 19 .. but right now im sooo outa shape)

Totally rocked that tower @! 19:02s, best of everyone I went with, even beat the jock who was in probably better shape then me (he got 19:47?)
