Post subject:  Do you categorize yourself?
Well, the younger people have categories they put eachother into. Judging by the music they listen too, clothes they wear and passtimes they do.

What would you class yourself?

Like, i wear clothes from lepal, republic,bench,goldigger etc, i listen to hip hop, the beatles, linkin park, rage agaisnt the machine etc, i used to try and skateboard, and i work in footlocker... Lol, i class myself as uniquely confused :lol:

But i dont userally categorize anyone or anything, i was just wondring how other people view it, as ive seen every sort of person, categorizing others.

Let's see... I'm a bit grungy.

I wear guitar shirts, hacker shirts, etc., plaid overshirts, a suede jacket, necklace, a pin that advertises my webcomic, baggy jeans, All Star Converse shoes. I generally wear a fedora as well but as of right now it is lost and thus I must buy a new one.

Music tastes.. let's see...

I have quite a wide array of music choice in my audio list I've currently been exposed to music by that of Ben Folds as well as a song titled "Code Monkey" that Shane brought to my attention through msn, a few of my all-time favorite bands would have to be Cake, Daft Punk, Goldfinger, Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead, and They Might Be Giants though my music tastes go much farther than that and as such, I'd not even come near the amount of space needed to list them all.

Passtimes? Basically just hangout with my friends. We play video games, go out to eat, play guitar, etc. I can generally be found on the computer, though. XD

Guess that's it.

Some people call me a strange person.

I wear Dark clothes. I listen heavy metal music which talks about violence and destruction.

Some People think I'm ''Goth'' ( I have a VERY white skin ) or I look like a ''Killer'' ( Yep, That's right...But I think I dont... ) . But I think they exagerate.

Well I wear Converse shoes, long skinny jeans. I am incredibly tall 6 feet 4 inches, I am really skinny, I got short hair right now. Most of the time I spend playing WoW, yes I am addicted but in a good kind of way, I love video games. I even have a feeling that I don't rember a day in my life when I didn't play any kind of video game. Since I was 5 for my b-day I got some Sega console (forgot which one) which literally introduced me to sweet gaming world. I always showed intersted towards fantasy, I loved tales my parents would read me. When I turned 7 I read my first Harry Potter book and I loved it. I am little bit punk/rock style and still nerdy on the inside. (Really random description :oops: )

Clothes/Appearance - No idea what you'd class it, tbh. I wear nothing but black most of the time, although it isnt the black hoodie and jeans you'll normally see. I wear a black shirt open at the neck in the summer, and a black tshirt (sometimes with a random nerdy slogan like this or this) with a shirt over it in colder times. I will then wear black or dark blue baggy jeans. I also sometimes wear spikes around my wrists.

I have long hair and very pale skin, which you would probably associate with goth-ish tendancies, although it isnt really because of that - i have very fair skin and burn easily, and I stay inside anyway because im on the computer a lot anyway.

Music - Power Metal, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Death Metal, Melodic Black Metal. I dont like all metal. As you can see, though, its basically the heavy stuff that I like.

Personality - Nerd. I spend many hours a day on my comp. The average sunday, i'll spend around 10-14 hours on the comp. The average school day, 5 or 6 hours. I program and do web design and various things like that.

Class me however you like, but I call myself a nerd.

I just wear any t-shirt that I like the design of, even if I don't know what the hell is going on in it. If it looks good I buy it.
I also wear jeans when I'm out, lowering them so the top of my boxers show which probably most guys do anyway.

I can't really describe my hair-style, but I like it. (when it goes how I want it to)

I like rock music, especially Hoobastank who have a vareity of different songs like soft songs, hard-rocking songs. They take pop songs and dress them in rock outfits!

I do different things throughout the day, I play the guitar for a couple of hours, play some games, and play a bit of football (british)

As for clothes, I usually wear Black Shirt, and jeans or anything else, but mostly I wear army BDU (Battle Dress Uniform), Which looks good on me heh.

My hair is kind of long, and I am 5'11, My skin is pale during winter time, which is why I dont really like summer.

My life: I am quite addicted to Army, and russian SPETSNAZ (Counter Terrorist Unit),I usually spend all of my time using computer, and as well as play Airsoft, in which I own 4 Weapons i spent over 2k for that sport, I am going for programming, or web design.

Music: My favorite music would be Rock such as Beatles, and or Military bard music.

And I hate light so I live in basement.

Being categorized normally depends on how someone see you or how you see yourself. Creepy think's he emo, and I think he's ***. Its just the way it works. ;-)

I'm a mix between Goth and Punk, I dress in black more often than not, I listen to Offspring, RATM and the such. I'm skeptical on political happenings but I'm not stupid enough to believe everything's a conspiracy. I wear my hat almost all the time. meh, I don't categorize myself normally, but if someone asks - punk. (And not the crappy Fallout boy punk either)

We don't scheme and plot our ways through the word filter.

I don't know. I wear normal clothes. My trousers are never too tight, but not loose. I like showing a little skin and looking fashionable, but I don't go to lengths. I'm not sure how I would categorise myself, really. I guess I need someone else to :P
