Are you currently reading any good books, i like to read to pass time in school so i usually read nonfiction books but if i do read fiction books in usually magic the gathering books or star wars. Most nonfictions i read are war related? Currently im reading a book called "Marine Sniper". Is a book about a Ssgt. in Vietnam who rackes up 93 sniper kills in the Jungle. A wonderful book and would recommended it to anyone who likes to read nonfiction.

By Michael Crichton?

Nice.

Start with Jurassic Park; it's much better. I read The Lost World and was deeply disappointed for being not as good.

Right now I am reading Eragon, and this other book, which is thought to be the first novel ever written, known as Don Quixote by Don Miquel de Cervantes Saadvera, or plainly Miguel Cervantes. It's long as hell, and is bogged down with confusing sentences with complex vocabularies, but I have to read it in order to pass the class...which is annoying.

None of the books written by JRR Tolkien are 1200 pages...

I have to read this one novel in school. I forget the title name but it's a wilderness outdoor adventure book, so that's not to bad to read. I don't like reading novels but I do like reading articles on things that interest me.

I read LoTR when i was 8. You should be ashamed.

Currently reading Assasin's Apprentice, by Robin Hobb. Excellent fantasy authoress. Farseer/Liveship Traders/Tawny man trilogy's are all amazing.

Read Shogun by James Clavell last week. Very, very good book. I recommend it to anyone with a passing interest in feudal japan.

Also, how is he a "Hero", if he killed 93 vietcong? They were defending their country - You were the invaders. It's like a Nazi claiming he was a war hero cause he killed 70 frogs.
