What a load of crap. Bunch of morons.

"We are what we pretend to be."

:-s

I was pretending to be a teenage mutant hero turtle 12 years ago, i don't see myself rooting about in sewers talking to giant rats.

I could go on and on explaining why this one sided, biased hunk of crap not-worth-the-bandwidth-it-takes-up is rubbish and needs to be burned and the creator shot in the face (no, that's not video game violence making me want to shoot him, i just dislike morons.) but this sums it up much better and it has a hot song:

That video is 100% Correct, i am sick of seeing the video game industry used as a scapegoat.

I am sick of retards shouting their mouths off about video games, making retarded, thick statements without providing any proof or evidence to back up their ridicules claims.

They are just stupid cause violence games ( Ex : GTA : San Andreas ) Are the most sellable in store, that with them that the video game conceptor makes lot of cash and thats what people wants. If conceptor stop making that kind of game, they will lose alot of money.

5 words: It is a video game.

If I play Grand Theft Auto, that doesn't mean I'm going to fly to a big city, steal cars, and shoot cops.

If I play Need for Speed, that doesn't mean I am going to buy a car and speed around at 100 miles an hour on city streets.

It's social responsibility. If you can't handle a game, don't play it.

Why don't the people who made this try and play video games?
You choose to play violent video games if you want to.
Do they really think I'm going to kill someone with a sward because I play RuneScape?

Well said.

It depends entirely on the person and how impressionable they are.

It's like the 9-year-old who copied Saddam's hanging.

Its just idiot cause I play GTA and Im not a guy who have an AK-47 and go to the city to kill everybody with a gang.

And Im not a warrior with a whip who kill every body in a wilderness to take their money to make cash and buy stuff. NO ! NO !

Stop thinking violent video games are bad ! Get a life !

Another time, once, they also said that the people who listen metal are killers and the people who listen rap are drugs dealer.

Seriously its totally stupid !

Violent videogames stop a lot of people from getting angry actually, they just take it out in the game lol.

I don't know. When I was younger, I did stupid stuff that I saw on TV-- thank god I didn't have video games. But arguably the situation is the same, anything on TV/video games (violent or non-violent) can impact young people.

Here's what I did:

I was watching the winter Olympics when I was like 12 or so.. and I loved the ice skaters. Well, you know how they twirl in the air and stuff? I tried jumping off my bed and twirling in the air and I ended up spraining my ankle.

Arguably, the winter Olympics shouldn't be shown to younger people.

I like how they mentioned columbine, which was in the 90's, before the rise of popular videogaming. They pinned it on Manson back then D:
